Normally I would refrain from photographing anyone going about their religious duties, but I felt that the quiet dignity of this elderly Kashmiri, outside his mosque in Srinigar, deserved to be captured. My wife positioned herself between me and my subject so that I could get the picture without offending him.     I'd like to think he would be pleased with it.
