This image of jealousy was created from a black-and-white portrait, which was printed on to a sheet of graphics film, then combined with another image of bark, and re-photographed with pieces of coloured paper strategically placed behind the image. By today's standards, a long-winded way to achieve the result, but in the 1970's it was virtually the only way.
