Wandering around inside Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, I got the idea of combining the image of the window with a group of candles in a corner. I photographed the window, and then took the shot of the candles on the same frame of film.  I returned to the window, and decided to take a zooming shot of it, zooming the camera during a 2 second exposure, and this shot was used as a backgound for the double-exposure photo.
